I was born and raised in Chippewa Falls but lived in Marietta, GA, for 37 years. Upon retiring, my husband and I returned to Chippewa Falls.
Art has always been a part of my life in some form. I majored in studio art at Kennesaw College in GA and enjoy attending workshops whenever possible. I am a member of the Hugh Mandelert Art Society, Valley Art Association, and Chippewa Valley Cultural Association.
My paintings are acrylics or oils applied in many thin layers to capture the colors and patterns of light in nature. For inspiration I rely on my own photos or those generously offered by friends.
