Originally from Michigan, I am now living in Wisconsin. I have been pursuing creative endeavors throughout my life. Following my B.S.in Studio Art, I worked as a textile designer in France and Switzerland for two years, while I continued studies in painting. Returning to Michigan I renovated a 1890s home for seven years and worked at an urban arts council developing a contemporary art museum. My career included teaching at an art college and owning a marketing communication firm. I was also employed in an architectural firm working on sustainable building design. Next I earned a MPA in Michigan, and then worked in county government in Wisconsin. I now enjoy working as a substitute paraeducator for the Menomonie School District. In 2023 I began to paint again.
