Growing up in Indiana, as the daughter of an artist, I was able to experience the beauty and joy of creating through my mother.I
graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After forty plus years of nursing, I am retired here in Wisconsin with my husband.
I first began painting in the late 90s just for fun using acrylic craft paints. Over the years I have become more intentional about painting by studying online with several watercolor artists that I admire. Through workshops and books, I have learned that each artist has their own way of approaching painting and that has encouraged me to go my own way.
I am primarily a watercolor artist but enjoy acrylic printing at times. I prefer painting with the beauty nature and landscapes as my inspiration.
In 2022 I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher. This has brought great joy and new avenues for my creativity. To contact me for Zentangle instruction email me at eautangle@gmail.com.
I am also a dedicated knitter and enjoy all things wool and yarn. I am so grateful to have the chance to create.
My happy place is my Log Cabin Studio.
