I have been painting watercolors for over 25 years. Although I still love watercolor, my newest discovery is printmaking. A favorite part of the printmaking process is to think of designs and patterns. My mother owned a small fabric shop as I grew up. She made me sort out embroidery flosses, buttons and felts by colors. I did not like that chore, but my childhood experience of working with colors and being surrounded by colorful fabrics influenced my art today.
