I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating from Mount Mary College with a degree in Art Education and Spanish Education. I have had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. I practically lived in the Art room in my high school. My creative side has defined me as I have worked in the classroom for 35 years. For me, places like Lake Superior and waterfalls call to me. I am addicted to water. I feel the most centered when I can see and hear it. As I create art, I try to push myself to find new ways to explore the medium. My latest interest is using a camera to make abstract images of nature, especially landscapes. My work with fused glass is also an experiment with mixing colors and shapes, especially with transparent glass. _Every piece fuses and slumps differently giving each a unique personality.
