My path to painting really only started about 8 years ago. Traveling professionally has been my life work and it has taken me around the world. Countless photos line my office spaces and all through the 30 years of traipsing around I have thought about possibly painting these beautiful places. Pat Hamm was my first teacher all those years ago followed by Bonnie Fetzek and other wonderful artists. Watercolor and alcohol inks have been my favorite mediums but I am looking forward to developing skills in acrylic and other mixed media. Georgia OKeefe is my favorite artist and about 3 years ago a group of us took a tour to her Ghost Ranch and also Santa Fe. I enjoy painting with the group at Beaver Creek once a month where there are lots of laughs and encouragement.
