Kathy has worked with stained glass for over 30 years. She took her first class with her Mom at Glassworks in Eau Claire. The mother-daughter date turned into a lifetime hobby. She specializes in leaded and foiled flat work, including panels, cabinet doors, and cement stepping stones.
Kathy enjoys making memory glass to honor a decreased family member or friend by exploring what was important to that person and capturing the thought in stained glass.
Retiring from a nursing career has allowed Kathy more time to play with glass. To share her love of glass, Kathy teaches a class, Sip And Strip, where participants go home with a framed piece of stained glass art.
