I consider myself a self-taught artist who applies a lifetime of skills and experiences into creating unique art using reclaimed materials.
My preferred materials are retired farm equipment, barn lumber, and vintage parts, but also incorporate stained glass, bicycle and motorcycle parts, and many other recyclable, used, or upcycled materials.
Each piece has its own story, and my goal is to create sculptures that have a recognizable form from a distance, then as the viewer gets closer, recognizes the individual components that make up the piece.
Creating art is very satisfying, but my goal is to watch people enjoy the result.
