Lauren Gengler is a polymodal artist from Bloomer, Wisconsin who has studied and worked in Minneapolis, Chicago, and New York. The paintings she is working on are concerned with feelings and their environments and the interdependence and interconnectedness between them. These pieces use the exploration of color and texture to explore the contradictory stagnancy and transitional nature of emotionally charged spaces.
