I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin graduating from Mount Mary College with a degree in Art Education. I have had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. I practically lived in the Art room in my high school. My creative side has defined me as I have worked in the classroom for almost 40 years. Now retired, places like Lake Superior and waterfalls call to me. I am addicted to water. I feel the most centered when I can see and hear it.
As I create art, I try to push myself to find new ways to explore the medium. My latest interest is double exposing photographs and alcohol ink paintings. My work with fused glass is also an experiment with mixing colors and shapes, especially with transparent glass and alcohol inks. Each piece is completely unique.
